Industrial standard incremental rotary encoder with integral bearing and separete chaft coupling with 5v TTL Quadrature output and synchro flange. HEIDENHAIN's ROD family of rotary encoders are characterized by their rugged design and compact dimensions. ROD 426 encoders are coupled to the drive or the spindle via a separate rotor coupling. Axial motion and misalignment (radial and angular offset) between the encoder shaft and the drive shaft are compensated by the coupling.
